"We created our Hummingbird
Hill cabins with one simple idea: to give our guests the kind of
experience of being in the woods, surrounded by nature, that we
have grown to love in our years of living in the Hocking Hills.
We wanted to provide large, airy, sunny, comfortable cabins that
would make our guests feel like they had come to a special
place."

Hummingbird Hill Cabins
are luxurious, spacious cabins in a secluded woodland
setting. Cabins 1, 2, 3 and 4 are located on 140 acres of
lush forest with private hiking trails, a small fishing
pond, and a wide variety of wildlife. Each cabin has
been designed to offer all the comforts of home in a
beautiful secluded setting. All of the cabins are built
on the side of a ridge, and so have multiple levels with
separate sleeping areas. All are at least 1600 square
feet and feature a beamed cathedral ceiling in the great
room. There are lots of windows, a stone gas fireplace, central air
conditioning, gas heat, DIRECTV and stereo system with CD
player. The kitchens are fully equipped, there are two full baths,
a large
outdoor hot tub and even a ping-pong table in the recreation room.
For the outdoor lover, there is a
camp fire ring and an elevated, covered screened back
porch and multiple decks that overlook the wooded hillside
below. Each of these cabins sleeps 10-12 persons.

Hummingbird Hill is located in the
Hocking Hills Region of Southeastern Ohio. Not far away are such
natural areas as Old Man's Cave, Lake Logan, Lake Hope State Park,
Zaleski State Forest and Wayne National Forest. Far off the
beaten path, the Hocking Hills are known for their hiking trails,
backpacking areas and one of the last remaining secluded sections of
Ohio. Your hosts at Hummingbird Hill continue the stewardship of
the wild areas in the region by maintaining their property with the
natural world in mind.
